KOREAN FILM FESTIVAL (KOFF) desembarca em mais uma cidade durante sua quarta edição: entre os dias 10 e 16 de setembro, Curitiba (PR) recebe uma programação que inclui oito longas-metragens da Mostra Não-Competitiva, três longas da Mostra Especial Anos 1960 do Korean Film Archive (KOFA) e oito curtas-metragens da Mostra Não-Competitiva.

Como dar um nome para algo que é uma novidade mas sempre esteve aqui? Recortar, aproximar, sobrepor, deslocar, justapor, aglutinar. Uma imagem retirada de seu contexto encontra outra; um fragmento aparentemente sem importância ganha novo sentido quando muda de lugar; tecidos, papéis, fotografias, pinturas e referências de tempos distintos passam a compartilhar uma mesma superfície.

Muito antes de se tornar um dos símbolos da cultura do sul do Brasil, a erva-mate teve papel fundamental na economia e no desenvolvimento do Paraná. Especialmente entre os séculos XIX e início do XX, a produção e a comercialização do chamado “ouro verde” movimentaram a economia paranaense, impulsionaram o surgimento de engenhos, estimularam o comércio e contribuíram para o crescimento e a transformação urbana de Curitiba.

Neste sábado (22), a partir das 11h, a Al. Prudente de Moraes promete trazer mais uma edição especial de inverno da Prudente Cultural, dentro do projeto Rua da França, apresentado pela Aliança Francesa de Curitiba.

O projeto "Clássicos da Cidade", que vai mapear a trajetória de 25 bares, restaurantes e confeitarias históricas do centro de Curitiba, foi lançado no último dia 19, na sede do Curitiba Turismo (CTur), com a presença do secretário Rodrigo Swinka e de empresários da gastronomia do Centro de Curitiba. A curadoria da iniciativa é assinada pela Curitiba Honesta, plataforma referência em gastronomia na capital paranaense.

Um pouco da cultura, dos sabores e da tradição artesanal do Peru desembarca em Curitiba. Até o dia 9 de setembro, o Shopping Estação recebe a Feira Mãos Peruanas, evento que convida o público a conhecer de perto produtos, técnicas e costumes que atravessam gerações da cultura andina. A capital paranaense é a primeira cidade do Estado a receber o evento. Antes, os organizadores participaram de duas edições em Santa Maria, no Rio Grande do Sul.

A semana promete muitas atrações na programação musical do Jokers (R. São Francisco, 164 – Centro Histórico). Na terça (11) tem a tradicional noite de música celta com Duo Awallonia com Carlos Simas e Iris Knopfholz. Quarta é a vez do Boldrini Jazz Trio com um repertório de clássicos do gênero. Na quinta (13) tem o show acústico da banda Live Transmission.
